Metzeler Roadtec 02 Super Sport-Touring Motorcycle Tyres

This may be a first. Metzeler is calling this a “Super-Sport Touring” tyre!!  That’s right, two tyres in one. Adaptive tread pattern technology that adapts the behaviour of the tyre from Sport Touring to Supersport. How is that even possible? Well, Metzeler claims the Roadtec 02 adapts the geometry of the grooves based on the motorcyclist’s riding style, thus varying the surface in contact with the asphalt and consequently the behaviour of the tyre, from Sport-Touring to Supersport. That makes it in a category of its own!

The front and rear have been designed with the same tread pattern to ensure the same adaptive behaviour on both axes. Both tyres have a full-silica compound but the rear is dual compound.

These tyres promise riding pleasure, high performance and safety in a wide range of temperatures and asphalt conditions.
