Michelin Starcross 6 Medium Hard Motocross Tyres

It really feels like we have been waiting a long time for Michelin to update their motocross ranges and they have done it with a “bang”, with all variations in one go!! What’s interesting is that there are “sub” variations, for want of a better expression. So where before we had a Medium compound, now we have a Medium Hard and a Medium Soft. There used to be and still is, a Sand version, but now there is a Mud option.

So the MEDIUM HARD is designed to win on intermediate terrain with its grip and control. The Starcross 6 is Michelin’s first silica technology motocross tyre, which should help maintain the tread block shape over time and compared with the Starcross 5, has increased durability by 19%. The adaptive design and specific positioning of the tread blocks on the 3 zones should also provide 16% more traction compared to its predecessor.
