Michelin with the new Road Classic is bringing a motorcycle tyre with modern technologies to, not only the modern commuter bike that cannot fit radial tyres but to the expanding market of Cafe Racers and the “reborn” older retro bikes of the past that need to be safe and up-to-date with modern roads and riding.

A compound of mix incorporating Silica Rain Technology (SRT), an innovation which when combined with a 26% void ratio gives 50% more wet grip than the previous generation, that being the Pilot Activ. Also, 50% more cornering stability and 40% more straight-line stability thanks, to its bias-belted technology casing which is supported by two crown piles.
